Subhi Ali, MD, is a board member and chairman of the Investment Committee for the Physicians Foundation. He serves as the chief of surgery and vice chief of staff at Three Rivers Hospital in Waverly, Tennessee, where he is also a member of the Board of Trustees.
Dr. Ali currently serves as Vice Chairman of the Tennessee Board of Medical Examiners. He is a fellow of the Federation of State Medical Boards, where he serves on the Audit and Finance Committee.
Dr. Ali, a former President of the Tennessee Medical Association (TMA), chairs the Tennessee Medical Education Fund and the Investment Committee of the TMA. He is involved in numerous medical associations and affiliations, including the American Board of Surgery and the National Arab American Medical Association. He also holds multiple government appointments and civic affiliations, and has spent more than 25 years as a member of the Tennessee State Guard and National Guard Medical Corps; he is a former President of the State Guard Association of the United States (SGAUS). Currently he is retired as a Brigadier General of the Tennessee State Guard.
