Amin Shenar Saleh Atallah is a poet, writer, journalist and thinker born in Al-Bireh in Palestine in 1933. He studied in its schools and in Ramallah schools. He published his first poem when he was sixteen years old. In 1967 he moved to Amman, where he wrote his first novel, The Nightmare, which won The Lebanese newspaper An-Nahar won the award jointly with Taysir Seboul for his novel “You are from today”.

He worked as editor-in-chief of (The New Horizon) magazine since its founding in 1961.
He issued a collection of poetry (The Immortal Mishaal) in 1957, and all his poems were broadcast on the radio station of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in Jerusalem.
He published the novel (The Nightmare), which won a joint Arab competition in 1967.
He began publishing his poetry early at the age of 19 in Al-Sareeh newspaper in 1949.
He worked as a journalist in (Al-Manar newspaper), then in (Al-Ofuk magazine).
He was writing a regular daily column in (Al-Dustour Newspaper) under the name Juhayna entitled (Lahzat) for more than 30 years. And a weekly corner under the name (with life and people).
He worked as a director of Jordanian TV programs until 1971.
He presented to Jordan TV the first purposeful Jordanian series, called (Bab Al-Amoud Hotel), (Whisper of the Candels) and (Searching for the Missing) and a religious scientific program entitled (Glory be to God).
He wrote several targeted radio programmes, the most famous of which are (Lamhat) and (Beads of the Heart). He wrote several wonderful plays, the most famous of which are: the play (Sheikh Hammad Village). And (darkness in the eye of the sun) and (the night the moon rises) and (the dam)
He worked as a teacher and educator at Al-Aqsa High Schools in Amman until he retired in the late nineties.
