Shafiq Kabha sang in his beginnings the Iraqi color and created it, and he also sang the Palestinian, Gulf and even Moroccan colors. He is known for his folk and patriotic songs. He started singing at the age of 18, and founded the Al-Lira Art Troupe, and later renewed it to become the Layali Al-Rabeeh Ensemble.

Shafiq Kabha and the Palestinian Heritage
Shafiq sang many Palestinian traditional songs, mixing between heritage and Western modernity, and used the keyboard and guitar to redistribute some of the famous Arabic songs. Like some songs of Umm Kulthum and Abdel Halim Hafez. Kabha is considered one of those who opened the windows of art in Palestine to Arab folklore and music in the Arab world. Shafiq Kabha sang Iraqi, Syrian, Lebanese and Egyptian folk songs, and was thus able to attract a wide audience from the West Bank, Gaza, the Palestinian interior and the camps in the diaspora. I reunited the Palestinians and formed a connection for them and shared my common Palestinian hobbies.

Forbid him to sing
The Israeli authorities banned Shafiq Kabha from singing in the West Bank for 10 years, due to his continuous singing of the Palestinian cause and the Palestinian guerrillas. He was also banned from singing in Egypt and Jordan.
