Saud Alasadi is a well-known poet and writer, he was born in Deir Al-Asad, Galilee (District of Acre) in 1938; studied at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

Saud has worked as an Arabic Language teacher in Nazareth and Acre from 1960 until his retirement in 1993. He is married, currently resides in Nazareth.
