Faisal Sidqi Abdullah Yassin (Abu
Majdi; born in 1934 in Tulkarm - died on May 27, 2022 in Amman) was a
Palestinian physician, and he is the father of Queen Rania Al Abdullah of the
Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

Faisal Sidqi Abdullah Yassin was
born in the Palestinian city of Tulkarem in 1934 AD, and completed his high
school studies there before moving to Egypt to study medicine at Cairo
University, and then go on to specialize in surgery and pediatrics in Northern
Ireland years later.
In 1961 AD, he moved to Kuwait after
obtaining a job in the Kuwaiti Ministry of Health, to open his private clinic
shortly thereafter as one of the first Arab doctors to obtain a license. After
thirty years he spent practicing the medical profession, he returned to Jordan
to retire and settle there until his death.

He passed away on Friday, May 27,
2022 AD, corresponding to Shawwal 26, 1443 AH, at the age of 88.
The Royal Hashemite Court mourned
him in a statement: “The Royal Hashemite Court mourns, with great sadness and
sorrow, the father of Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah, may God protect her,
and found each of their Royal Highnesses Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II, Crown
Prince, and Prince Hashem bin Abdullah II, And Princess Iman bint Abdullah II,
and Princess Salma bint Abdullah II, may God protect them, the late, God
willing, Doctor Faisal Sidqi Al-Yassin, who moved to his mercy in Amman today,
Friday, on Shawwal 26 in 1443 AH, corresponding to May 27, 2022 AD ». And a
state of mourning was announced in “at the Royal Hashemite Court for a period
of seven days, starting today, Friday.” And he continues, “The Royal Hashemite
Court expresses sincere condolences and sincere sympathy to His Majesty King
Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein, Her Majesty Queen Rania Abdullah, and His Highness
Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah The second, the Crown Prince, and the princes
Hashem, Iman and Salma, and the family of the deceased and the honorable
Al-Yassin family, with this painful affliction, praying to God the Most High,
the Almighty, to bless him with the abundance of his mercy and pleasure, and to
dwell him in his spacious gardens.
