Lina was born to a Palestinian father of Palestinian origin from the town of Kifl Haris in Salfit Governorate, and a mother of Russian origin. She studied at Al-Raja’ Evangelical Lutheran School and obtained a high school score of (80.7) in the scientific stream, which qualified her to enter Birzeit University and graduated from it in 2015 with a specialization in Nutrition and Diet.

Lina is considered one of the Palestinian female media professionals, as she worked for the Palestinian TV channel, which is owned by Maher Shalaby, the Palestinian journalist, who attracts young faces like Lina, pushes them and presents them through the channel.
