Azmi Al-Daqqa (born April 28, 1960 in Attil, Palestine - died May 22, 2017 in Warsaw, Poland) was a Palestinian diplomat and politician. In January 2012, he was appointed ambassador of the State of Palestine to Poland and continued until his death. He was also the former ambassador of the State of Palestine to Nigeria and Benin.


Azmi Ahmed Nassar Daqqa was born in the town of Attil in the Tulkarm governorate in the northern West Bank on April 28, 1960. In the period 1986-1988, he held the position of head of the Palestinian medical team in Sierra Leone, and worked in the political department of the Palestine Liberation Organization in Tunisia from 1988-1990, and served as the head of the Palestinian medical team in Sierra Leone. In business, Head of the Palestinian Mission in Manila, the Philippines, from 1991-1993, and worked as Deputy Ambassador of the State of Palestine to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He was appointed as the ambassador of the State of Palestine to Nigeria in the period 2006-2011, and was appointed as a non-resident ambassador of the State of Palestine to Benin in the period 2011-2017.


Azmi Al-Daqqa passed away in a hospital in the Polish capital, Warsaw, on May 22, 2017, due to a serious illness. His body arrived in the West Bank through Al-Karama Crossing on May 28, 2017, and was buried on the same day in the cemetery of his town Attil, Tulkarm governorate.
