Radi Annab, the first Jordanian commander of the Jordanian Arab Army and one of the officers who formed the first nucleus of the Jordanian Arab Army in 1923 AD. Born in Nablus in 1898 AD, he joined Nablus schools and studied at the Teachers Institute in Beirut. He joined the Arab Army on July 1, 1923, with the rank of lieutenant.

In his capacity as the Jerusalem district police chief, Annab was present with King Abdullah I on the day he was assassinated in Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem by a Palestinian gunman opposed to the king's policies. In the ensuing clash with the shooter in which he was killed, Inab was wounded. On June 29, 1953, Inab met Israeli General Moshe Dayan and they discussed ways to end attempts by Palestinian refugees to infiltrate the Israeli side of the Green Line, which causes panic to Israel .
