Abu Ishaq Burhan al-Din Ibrahim bin Muhammad bin Abdullah bin Muhammad bin Muflih al-Ramini al-Maqdisi al - Salihi al-Hanbali ( 816-884 AH / 1413-1479 AD ) was a judge and one of the senior Hanbali scholars , and a prominent scholar from the Banu Muflih family, the house of leadership and knowledge in the Levant, and he was from the village of Ramin in the Palestinian governorate of Tulkarm , and he was born in Damascus . Like his predecessors, he is known as Ibn Muflih, and they are all known as Al-Muqaddas. 

His biography

Ibn al-Mufleh was born in Damascus , Syria, and is from the village of Ramin in the Palestinian Tulkarm Governorate . [3] Ibn al-Muflih grew up in Damascus, and he memorized the Qur’an and books including al-Muqni’ fi al-Madhahib, Alfiyya ibn Malik, al-Shatibiyyah, and al-Ra’iyya. He heard from a group of scholars, including the Shafi’i jurist Taqi al-Din al-Asadi, known as Ibn Qadi Shahba , and the Hanbali judge Izz al-Din al-Baghdadi, and he narrated on the authority of a group. He excelled in jurisprudence and its principles, and virtuous people benefited from him. He worked in teaching, judiciary, and writing. He studied at the Sheikh Abi Omar School in Al-Salihiyah, east of the Hanbali Monastery, Dar Al-Hadith Al-Ashrafieh at the foot of Qasioun, the Hanbali and Cuneiform schools in the Qaymariyah district, Al-Jawziyya near the Umayyad Mosque, and the Al-Muzaffari Mosque or Hanbali Mosque at the foot of Qasioun in the Kurdish neighborhood. He was appointed judge of Damascus more than once, and he carried out his duties well. He asked to judge Egypt and apologized. The leadership of the Hanbalis ended with him, and he became the reference for jurists and people and the one relied upon in matters.

His works 

He worked as a writer and wrote works on jurisprudence, principles, and classes, including:
Explanation of Al-Muqni’ in Hanbali jurisprudence: He called him the Creator.
Access to the science of principles.
The purpose of Arshad in the translation of the companions of Imam Ahmad: in the Hanbali classes, and it is arranged according to the letters of the dictionary.

His death

Judge Burhan al-Din died at his home in Dar al-Hadith al-Ashrafieh in Damascus. His funeral was attended by the representative of the Levant and many people. He was buried in al-Rawda in al-Salihiyah, with his father and grandparents.
